you know me. the quiet kid who inhales caffeine, sugar and red bulls in the morning, arrives early, sits in the front row of the class and, 4 minutes in, promptly falls asleep. right in the teacher's face. it's not disrespect. i'm just allergic to mornings.

the inner life of a cell.
it's pretty mindblowing to think that all this goes on in just one of the billions of cells that make up a human being.

with winter just around the corner, one year on and 3 million people with be without the basic ammenities. we're talking shoes, blankets and food for infants living in mountainous regions.
only a small percentage of the promised 6 billion dollars in aid has been forked up. and even then, reconstruction is proceeding at a snail's pace.
so if you've got anything (old pair of boots, unused coat, blankets) take it to your nearest relief center, of which there are many. you could be saving someone's life.

morning all (jetlagged!). just got back from gorgeous-lovely-breathtaking malaysia. i want to move there, it's so GREEN. quite a change from our spectrum of brown(oh so many shades of dirt).
touristed, stocked up on my manga. picked me up some literature. and also... an abacus. i've always wanted how to work one and am now scouring the web for tutorials. if you've got a link, drop me a line.

and in other lovely news: RESULTS ARE IN AND I PASSED! nothing less that an A, baby!
wiggy, if you're reading this, i'm sending you a box of dirt and advise you to rub your face in it. :) i'm also sending you manga. love you too.
