you know me. the quiet kid who inhales caffeine, sugar and red bulls in the morning, arrives early, sits in the front row of the class and, 4 minutes in, promptly falls asleep. right in the teacher's face. it's not disrespect. i'm just allergic to mornings.
with winter just around the corner, one year on and 3 million people with be without the basic ammenities. we're talking shoes, blankets and food for infants living in mountainous regions.
only a small percentage of the promised 6 billion dollars in aid has been forked up. and even then, reconstruction is proceeding at a snail's pace.
so if you've got anything (old pair of boots, unused coat, blankets) take it to your nearest relief center, of which there are many. you could be saving someone's life.
